Of all the emotions that Misnomer's dances elicite in me, my favorite happens during those awkward moments in the dance, the ambiguous fragments when the choreography is not presented to the audience wrapped up with a bow on top, but instead challanges the audience by portraying charaters with unresolved statements or motives. Those are the parts of the dance that live with me afterwards. It is great to watch an artist who understands his roll as entertainer, but is not confined by it.
